Mosey Pricing: What Everything Costs

Mosey is free to be on. A profile, your menu, your dishes, ratings, the Gold mark and your place in local discovery cost nothing, however big your menu is.
Almost everything else is commission only — you pay when you earn, not before. Two things carry a subscription, and they are named below.
All figures exclude VAT. 23% VAT is added to Mosey's fees, deducted automatically through Stripe, and reclaimable if you are VAT-registered. The customer booking fee is the exception and is quoted inclusive of VAT, because the customer paying it cannot reclaim it.

Customers pay a booking fee on orders that scales with the size: €0.30 under €10.00, €0.60 under €30.00, €0.90 under €50.00, €1.29 on orders of €50.00 or more, inclusive of VAT. Mosey Pay carries no booking fee at all.
Voice-captured orders add 0.5% as a separate named line, only on orders actually placed by voice.

You always see the exact audience and the exact price before you pay, and you only pay for notifications that actually send. Your first boost or sponsored action of a given type is half price.
The two subscriptions
Reservations is free up to 75 bookings a month. Above that:

Starter covers up to 200 bookings a month; Host is unlimited and adds the full feature set. Yearly is eleven months for twelve.
Food Stays is for hotels and is subscription-only, with no commission and no per-booking fee: €19.99, €49.99 or €99.99 a month for three, ten or unlimited live offers.
What we do not do
- No listing fee. Being on Mosey is free.
- No fee to post a job, and no commission on a hire.
- No commission on tips. Every cent reaches you.
- No commission on reservation deposits. They pass to you in full.
- No markup on Stripe. Their card fee is passed through at cost.
- No charge for having a menu, at any size.
How you are paid
Customers pay through Stripe and you are paid via Stripe Connect, arriving in your bank on your normal Stripe payout schedule. Commission is deducted at the point of sale rather than invoiced later, so there is never a bill to settle.
Refunds are your decision. Mosey processes payments on your behalf and does not decide refunds, with one exception: a customer's two-minute self-cancel on an order refunds automatically.
What it connects to
Every rate above belongs to something. This is where to read what it actually does before deciding whether the rate is worth paying.
- Order Ahead — collection ordering at 1.5%, the cheapest paid order on Mosey.
- Delivery — 6%, with your own drivers, a shared pool or a contractor.
- Mosey Pay — the in-store till at 1.5%, and the reason loyalty records itself.
- Reservations — the one monthly plan, free to 75 bookings a month, 0% on deposits.
- Loyalty — free to run, 1% on the spend it rewards.
- Vouchers and promotions — 4.5% and 4.5%, paid for up front by the customer.
- Menus — free at any size, and the thing every rate above depends on.

Common questions
What does it cost to be on Mosey?
Nothing. Your profile, menu, dishes, photographs, ratings, the Gold mark and local discovery are all free, with no listing fee and no charge for menu size.
Do I need a subscription?
Only for two things. Reservations is free up to 75 bookings a month and then €79.99 or €169.99 a month. Food Stays, for hotels, is subscription-only. Everything else is commission when you earn.
What do you charge on orders?
1.5% on Order Ahead and 6% on delivery. Customers pay a booking fee that scales with the order — €0.30 under €10.00, €0.60 under €30.00, €0.90 under €50.00, €1.29 on orders of €50.00 or more — quoted inclusive of VAT.
Why is collection cheaper than delivery?
A collection order has no courier leg and very little operational cost, so it runs at 1.5%, the same as the in-store till. Delivery at 6% reflects the real cost of supporting it.
Do you take anything on tips?
No. Tips carry 0% commission, so 100% of what a customer tips reaches you.
Is VAT included in these figures?
No. All commission figures exclude VAT, and 23% VAT is added to Mosey's fee and deducted automatically through Stripe. The customer booking fee is the one exception and is quoted inclusive of VAT.
Do you mark up card processing?
No. Stripe's card fee is passed through at cost with no Mosey markup.
When am I paid?
Through Stripe Connect on your normal Stripe payout schedule. Commission is deducted at the point of sale rather than invoiced, so there is no bill to settle later.
Is there a fee to post a job?
No. Posting a role is free, with no listing fee, no application fee and no commission on a hire. Paid outreach to reach more workers is optional.
Can pricing change?
Any change is given 30 days notice. The rates on this page are the ones charged today.
